What to Expect During VYVGART® Infusion Therapy
- You may wait in the waiting area for an hour or more before being called into the infusion area.
- Be greeted medical professional will check you in and ask for your ID and insurance card.
- Be preparedYou can expect to be guided through the process by a trained medical professional.
- Be comfortableYou'll be seated or lying down in a comfortable position. You can bring a sweater if you get cold, or a portable fan if you get hot.
- Receive medicationA nurse will insert a needle or catheter into your arm or hand and connect it to an IV bag. The medication will drip into your bloodstream through the IV.
- Be monitoredYour medical provider will monitor your vitals, such as your heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen levels.
