About FERAHEME® Infusion Therapy
FERAHEME® is an iron replacement product that is used in adults used to treat iron deficiency anemia (IDA), which is low red blood cells caused by a lack of iron in the body.

Conditions treated by this therapy
FERAHEME® is indicated for the treatment of iron deficiency anemia (IDA) in adult patients:
- who have intolerance to oral iron or have had unsatisfactory response to oral iron or.
- who have chronic kidney disease (CKD)

What to Expect During FERAHENE® Infusion Therapy
Before your infusion, it is important to drink plenty of water and come to your appointment hydrated.
- Your dedicated Infusion nurse will check your vitals and review your medical history to check for improvements or potential side effects of your infusion therapy.
- Your nurse will begin your infusion and check in on you periodically during your treatment.
- After your infusion, your nurse will monitor you to ensure you do not have any complications or reactions to the infusion therapy.
