Non-Radiographic Axial Spondylo-arthritis Infusion Therapy
Non-Radiographic Axial Spondyloarthritis (nr-AxSpA) is a chronic inflammatory rheumatic disease that primarily targets the spine and sacroiliac joints. It is termed "non-radiographic" because active joint inflammation and bone marrow edema are present without visible structural damage on conventional X-rays, often requiring MRI for early detection.
The hallmark symptom is inflammatory back pain that worsens with rest, improves with physical activity, and causes significant morning stiffness. Patients may also experience peripheral joint pain, enthesitis (inflammation at tendon insertion points), extreme fatigue, and systemic manifestations such as uveitis.
Violet Health provides targeted biologic therapies, including TNF inhibitors and IL-17A inhibitors (such as CIMZIA®, COSENTYX®, and TALTZ®), which effectively suppress systemic inflammation, relieve chronic pain, and prevent structural progression to ankylosing spondylitis. Our clinical experts deliver infusions in a relaxing setting designed for optimal patient comfort.
