PHESGO® is a breast cancer treatment designed for people with HER2-positive breast cancer, which means your cancer cells make too much of a protein called HER2 that helps the cancer grow faster. PHESGO® works by blocking this HER2 protein in two different ways at the same time. It combines three medicines into one powerful treatment that's given as a quick 5-minute injection under your skin, saving you hours of time compared to traditional IV treatments. PHESGO® is always used together with chemotherapy which attacks the cancer cells while PHESGO® specifically targets the HER2 protein, making them much more effective together than either treatment would be alone. PHESGO® is a combination cancer medication that contains three active ingredients: pertuzumab, trastuzumab, and hyaluronidase.

Before your infusion, it is important to drink plenty of water and come to your appointment hydrated. Plan to arrive early with all necessary documentation and for administeration of necessary premedications required prior to treatment.
PHESGO® is given as an injection under the skin in your thighs and is always administered by a healthcare professional.
Your first injection takes about 8 minutes, and subsequent injections about 5 minutes. You'll be getting an injection every three weeks.

PHESGO® has an increased risk for patients with cardiovascular and pulmonary issues. PHESGO® is not recommended for pregnant patients and can cause fetal harm such as underdeveloped lungs, skeletal abnormalities and neonatal death.
